My Love
I must admit I have been a bit of a procrastinator lately, but I actually have a very good excuse. My husband and I recently found out we will be expecting our first child in April. We have been trying for awhile, so I have been busy taking it all in. Basically enjoying every second. We sent these cards out to family and friends so I thought I would share the news with my blog buddies.
My New Unit
I just finished my Sight Word Super Pack for Treasures unit 1. I was a little late getting it out, but it is well worth it. I have already been using some of these activities with my kiddos this week for our review before our unit assessment. This unit is great because it included games and activities for each week of words. The unit includes:
-Sight Word Graphing
-Cut and Paste Sight Word Sentences
-Sight Word Tic-Tac-Toe
-Sight Word Color Pages
-Sight Word Color Pages
-Mystery Sight Words
-Go Fish
-Cookie Bandit Game
-Sight Word Bingo
The best part of the unit is that it is part of my Ovarian Cancer Benefit sale that will go on through this Sunday at my Teachers Notebook Shop.
Here’s a sneak peek at my unit…
My Laughs………
Last week we had our fundraiser assembly. I am not usually a fan of hyping the kiddos up at 10:00 am because the rest of my day is a bit shot, but I did love that after the assembly we walked out to this!

Yes! This is our principal Mrs. Basler. What a trooper. Every year she makes a deal with the kids that if they raise a certain amount of money she will do something funny. One year she dyed her hair green. The kids go crazy over this stuff! We beat our goal so she got duct taped to the wall.
Congrats!!!! :)
