This post is much needed and past due. This past week I was so excited to see that I have over 300 followers and some new blog awards given by some of the best bloggers out there. I need to say my thank you's and praise some much needed bloggers for all their hard work. First, I would like to thank these lovely bloggers for nominating me two awesome awards.
Thank you to Kara at Treadwells Math Adventures for nominating me for a top ten blog.
Thank you to Sheree at Petersons Pad for nominating me for the lovely blog award.
As part the nomination I must nominate a few other bloggers out there that deserve these amazing awards. Here are some of the blogs I am loving right now. I would love to give these blogs the top ten award. Come grab your buttons! Be sure to thank the person who gave you the award and blog about others who deserve it.
This was one of the first blogs I discovered and I still love to see what she is blogging about. Her ideas are so creative. I love how she always seems to find a way to turn something from the Dollar Tree into an awesome game or center.
Another blog I recently discovered that I think will soon be big is Hangin'with Mrs. Cooper. She is a Kindergarten teacher with some pretty great ideas. I love some of her recent Dr. Seuss ideas. Stop by and check her out.
I would like to notice these two blogs for the lovely blog awards. These guys always have good ideas and are mostly free. Yes..FREE! I love that.
In order to get your award you need to....
1. grab your button.
2. Thank the person who gave you it.
3. Blog about others who deserve it.
Heather over at Heather's Heart always has really cute stuff for download. Check out her recent post for St. Patty's Day. Her dice game is on my lesson plans for Friday.
Kelley over at Buggy for Second is another favorite of mine. She has really good freebies all the time and I am loving her Ken Henkes Freebies right about now. She is a new blogger worth checking out.
Another thing I would love to share are some of my favorite site out there. These are the ones I go to weekly for my lessons and centers. These are not all blogs, but are great resources. Take some time to take a peak!
Pathways Site For Power Points Over Guides
Sight Word Games to Make
I use these for almost all of my small group games because you can edit them to use any words you want!!!
Treasures Resources (1st grade)
If you use Treasures Reading and haven't been here yet you are missing out. My weekly plans have become so much easier since discovering this site. It is a weekly must have!
Reading/Grammar/Phonics Printables
This site has wonderful printables and tons of free resources.
Math Videos
My kids LOVE these videos. We use them during calendar math and they are a huge hit. They also have awesome videos for letters too. Many are free, but some cost.
I hope some of these sites are helpful. Have a great week and luck O' the Irish to ya!
Thanks so much for the award! You are just too sweet! I hope you are having a great week!
